У репортера не работал наушник, и оператор решил помочь. Интересно почему он подумал, что поцелуй в ухо поможет наладить звук.

В ней раскрывается, как в зеркале, сила русского человека, способного переносить самые тяжёлые лишения, выпавшие на его долю, и в то же время его беззащитность и ранимость, неумение изменить ход событий ради спасения себя и своих близких. Герои фильма по-разному вспоминают об истории восьмилетней давности, давая ей яркие и неожиданные оценки. Судьба охотника Андрея Хрущёва отразилась на каждом из них по-своему. Его любили и ценили за смелость и решительность, уважали за профессионализм и романтическую душу. “Охотник”- повесть о человеческой трагедии, рассказанная просто и искренне. Фильм нетороплив и печален, как зимний вид далёкого Саянского села, стоящего на берегу красивой и коварной реки Кизир…

Фильм получил специальный приз имени Виктора Астафьева на XXIII Международном фестивале документальных, короткометражных игровых и анимационных фильмов «Послание к Человеку», состоявшемся с 21 по 28 сентября 2013 в Санкт-Петербурге, а также участвовал в номинации «Призвание» национальной премии «Страна» за 2013 год.
Демонстрировался по телеканалам «Страна», «Комсомольская правда», а также каналам стран СНГ.
