Идея сохранить услышанное мною более 20 лет назад воплотилась в этом фильме. В нем я постарался максимально нейтрально и не предвзято рассказать историю моей семьи. Ничего не придумано, не приукрашено, не очернено, все рассказано современниками и их детьми. Также информация взята из открытых доступных каждому источников. Цели две. Первая — сохранить маленькую историю деревеньки, тесно вплетенную в большую мировую. Вторая — подтолкнуть нашу молодежь к изучению своей истории самостоятельно, не по учебникам. Для этого в фильме специально оставлено очень много за скобками.
По-разному складываются судьбы трех школьных подруг: серьезная Таня поступает в медицинский, красивая Кира выбирает театральный, а беззаботная Светлана, провалившись на экзаменах, идет работать на часовой завод. Каждая из трех девушек встречает свою первую любовь, но Таня и Кира не догадываются, что влюблены в одного и того же мужчину…
