Next, as the morning turns into a sunlit afternoon, viewers are swept inland to the crystal clear waters of the the impressive Breiðdalsá river, to cool off in some falls along with a pair of local swans. Well known for salmon fishing, the turquoise blue river winds its way scenically across the valley basin to the sea, which is where the film ends — but not before a chance encounter with a local reindeer! The final flight in Part 1 offers a sunny afternoon look at the tiny village of Breiðdalsvík from afar and offers an amazing endless blue water vista with green islands, seagulls, a rock island that that looks like a cat, a scenic lighthouse, and more.
