Beverly Hills is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. Located within 5.7 square miles and surrounded by the cities of Los Angeles and West Hollywood, the City has an estimated population of 35,000. Sometimes referred to as «90210,» one of its primary ZIP codes, the City is home to many celebrities, luxury hotels, and the famous Rodeo Drive shopping district. Originally a Spanish ranch where lima beans were grown, Beverly Hills was incorporated in 1914 by a group of investors who had failed to find oil but found water instead and eventually decided to develop it into a town. By 2013, its population had grown to 34,658. Beverly Hills is a dynamic city filled with diverse communities, beautiful architecture and palm tree-lined streets. Stay for the luxury shopping and fine dining, and depart with a deeper understanding of the fascinating neighborhoods and communities that form the beating heart of Beverly Hills. Beverly Hills is filled with some of the biggest, most luxurious homes Los Angeles has to offer. These luxury properties are homes to many celebrities, foreign nationals and investors. Beverly Hills consists of Trousdale Estates, Beverly Hills flats and Beverly Hills Commercial District. Beverly Hills is also part of Platinum Triangle. The Platinum Triangle is an informal name for three adjacent affluent neighborhoods in the Westside area of Los Angeles County, in Southern California. It includes two Los Angeles city neighborhoods, Bel Air and Holmby Hills; and the City of Beverly Hills.(Wikipedia)
